Thermal drone inspections
A thermal camera sees temperature differences the eye can't, so problems show up without anyone climbing a ladder or a tower.
What we inspect
Flown with the DJI Matrice 4T, which puts the thermal view and a zoom camera side by side.
Solar panels
Temperature differences point to faulty or underperforming panels, so electrical or mechanical problems can be found and fixed.
Towers
Check towers for structural weak spots safely and efficiently, with no manual climbing.
Other structures
Have something else that heat could tell you about? Call and ask.
Safer, faster, from above
Sending a person up a tower or across a roof takes time and carries risk. A drone covers the same ground in a fraction of the time, and the thermal camera shows what a regular photo would miss.
You get thermal and regular images of what we find, so you can see the problem spots and decide what to do next.

Common questions
What can a thermal drone inspect?
Solar panels, towers and other structures where temperature differences reveal a problem. If you're not sure, call and ask.
How does a thermal solar inspection work?
Faulty or underperforming solar panels run at a different temperature from healthy ones. The thermal camera shows those differences, which point to electrical or mechanical issues.
Does anyone have to climb?
No. The drone does the looking, so nobody has to climb a tower or walk a roof.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. NEPA Drone is flown by an FAA Part 107 licensed remote pilot (#3970139) and every flight is insured through SkyWatch.
Need eyes on a hot spot?
Tell us what needs inspecting and where, and we'll plan the flight.
